Life moves so fast. Even when it feels pretty stagnant, don't forget it's still moving by and one day soon you will look back and feel a lot of different things. I guess you just have to experience everything with some degree of attention to detail and hope you catch some good moments to hold onto so you can look back and feel good about those times.
I look back on my childhood, which all but ends in a few days, and I see my family. They are everything in my world. I see my father smiling from the garden. I see my mother holding me in her arms. I see my brothers there smiling and laughing. I see that big wooden house in the afternoon sun. Now I am going off on my own and I have to find something else to define myself by, for so long it was the family I love. Now I have to go into the world and figure out what it is that makes me the person I am.
